Car Insurance Yugo (Car Insurance). Career Choices For Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Experience?Career Choices For Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Experience? I am 20 years old. I have recently joined the Army. I joined with the intentions of defending my country, overcoming the mental obstacles, and the benefits of on the job training and experience it provides. I recently left MEPs and I'm very excited to find out that I will be a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. I do not know much about being a Mechanic of any sort, so this field of work is completely new to me. What are some of the Job opportunities that could be available for me when I get out of the military? (considering I don't completely fall in love with the military and retire from it haha) I would like to potentially go to school in the field while enlisted and beef up my resume to get a high paying job. Is there any specific jobs as a civilian that would be a great route to take to use my experience in this field to my advantage? Any Help or advice is appreciated. Go Army! You're on the path to an engineering degree, if you want to go that way. a million jobs in a hundred fields, if you work hard, learn your math, physics, and gain a solid grasp of basic mechanics. bust out the word "Stoichiometry" in front of your Top one day -or better yet your Lt. -they will soon have you on the career path. (look it up first) world definitely needs more engineers -especially with emerging non-fossil energy industry. maybe also mention 'Veg-oil conversion' and see if you can't get your country to save a billion dollars a year by contracting with mcdonalds as it fuel supplier, rather than BP. and what a possible does your country do for you in return ,except for awaiting a casket and a 21 gun salute... Yugo . How to Use BondoBondo is an excellent repair product that's most commonly known as a body filler for rusty or dented vehicles, although it can be used on other items. It can be used on a wide variety of surfaces, from wood to metal to fiberglass, and can be used to change the appearance of computer cases, or to repair cracks or dents in them as well. It is an epoxy made up of two separate materials that are mixed together and applied to your item. Bondo is easily shaped when wet, but dries very hard to provide a solid repair to even the most damaged surface. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Bondo Paint pan Putty knife Sander Sand paper Face mask Step by Step : 1 Clean the area where you will be applying the Bondo. A clean surface is vital to a solid patch. 2 Place a bit of Bondo in your paint pan. You need to work with Bondo in small batches, so a 2-inch section of Bondo is plenty. 3 Open your hardener and put a strip across the top of your Bondo. Mix them together very well. Proper mixing is essential to getting the Bondo to harden up. 4 Scoop the mixture up with your putty knife and apply it to your surface. You need to work fast as the Bondo will harden quickly. 5 Fill in your surface completely, spreading the Bondo as evenly as possible. Be sure to fill in your edges well to keep any moisture from seeping under your Bondo. 6 Allow your Bondo to harden for approximately 45 minutes. This should be plenty of time for it to harden completely. If it is still soft after an hour, you did not add enough hardener to the mixture. 7 Sand your Bondo with medium grit sandpaper. Wear a face mask as you do not want to inhale particles of the Bondo. Run the sandpaper over the entire surface of your Bondo to even out the big ridges in your surface as much as possible. 8 Change your sandpaper to fine grit and finish sanding your surface. Run your hands over the surface as you sand to make sure you get a perfectly even surface. 9 Wipe your surface clean with a damp towel. You want to remove all traces of Bondo particles from your surface before you attempt to paint it. Tips & Warnings Work quickly when using Bondo. It hardens by a chemical reaction and will set up fast once it is properly mixed. Do not use Bondo in an unventilated area. Chemicals should only be used in areas with adequate airflow to prevent illness or injury.
Yugo . How to Do Automotive BodyworkAlmost anyone who owns a car needs automotive bodywork done at some point. Bringing your car to a body shop can be very expensive, and often take days or even weeks to complete. But most of the cost in bodywork is actually in the labor charges. Learn how to do automotive bodywork yourself to significantly reduce your costs. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Bondo Dent puller Hand sander Step by Step : 1 Use a dent puller on large dents to straighten the metal. Drill into the metal of the car in various places in the dent; usually 3 to 5 holes will work. Insert the dent puller and gently pull the tool until the dent looks more smooth. It will probably not look perfect. 2 Sand the entire area with a small grinder and rough sandpaper disk. Grind away the paint in the dent and the surrounding area. 3 Apply Bondo over the holes made from the drill and also over the low-lying areas in the dent. Allow the Bondo to dry completely. 4 Sand the Bondo with a hand sander/file with 80-grit sandpaper. Sand until the Bondo feels smooth, but don't sand so much that the dent can be felt again. The Bondo is to fill the holes and make the entire area level with the rest of the car again. 5 Use 600-grit sandpaper over the entire Bondo area again. This makes the scratches in the Bondo less apparent. 6 Apply body filler directly over the Bondo. Allow it to dry completely and then sand over it using 1,000-grit sandpaper. 7 Wipe the entire area with a dirt and grease remover. It is now ready for primer and paint. Tips & Warnings Harmful particles are released when sanding Bondo and body filler. Wear a face mask when working with these products. *pedal, fluid goes from the master cylinder into the brake lines, and then, when you release the pedal, the fluid flows back into the master cylinder. Essentially, when you check your master cylinder, you're looking to make sure that you have enough brake fluid. If your vehicle has anti-lock brakes (ABS), consult your owner's manual before checking the master cylinder. Failure to do so may result in under- or overfilling the reservoir. And remember that some anti-lock systems are under extreme pressure. To check the brake fluid in your master cylinder, follow these steps: 1. Open the top of your master cylinder. 818

The rubber cups descend and touch the surface of the remaining brake fluid, to prevent evaporation and to keep the dust and dirt out. When the fluid flows back in, the rubber cups are pushed back up.
